M01 will be available in half sizes from Men's 5.5 (US) to Men’s 13 (US), and Women's 7 (US) to Women's 12 (US). Please refer to the size charts below to get available sizes and compare to some popular brands to find your best M01 fit.
We recommend going half a size up from your true size for the MID-TOP, as this waterproof model is primarily intended for longer and multi-day hikes. Having a little extra room helps in those scenarios.
For the LOW-TOP, you can buy your true size, as it is intended for daily hikes and everyday use. However, based on your fit you can go half size up.
The fit is engineered to be roomy in the toe box and hikers tell us their toes have room to splay.

The M01M (Mid Top) is designed to provide weather protection suitable for real-world field conditions, including wet grass, morning dew, light rain, muddy trails, and damp environments.
The M01L (Low Top) is water resistant and for daily use.
Yes for moderate cold temperatures. The M01 is designed as a versatile field shoe capable of supporting outdoor use across multiple seasons.
Appropriate socks should be selected based on expected temperatures and conditions.
However, it does not have insulation for extreme cold weather or freezing temperatures.
Durability was one of our highest priorities. The M01 has undergone extensive field testing by wildlife photographers and outdoor professionals, along with laboratory testing of key materials and construction methods.
Our goal was to create a shoe that can withstand real-world outdoor use.
The M01 has been tested extensively by wildlife photographers and birders in real field conditions and evaluated under controlled laboratory testing protocols. The testing was conducted over a period of time starting with initial samples and prototypes, subsequent revisions, and finally through production samples.
Feedback from testing directly influenced material selection, comfort improvements, traction refinement, and overall design decisions.

Yes. One of the primary design goals was all-day comfort for walking, standing, crouching, or waiting for wildlife activity.
We are currently launching with our primary fit profile. Our shoes have wide toebox profile by default.
Additional widths may be considered in future product releases depending on demand and feedback from the community.
The M01 is NOT designed to accommodate aftermarket insoles and custom orthotics.
Bonolok partners with experienced footwear manufacturing partners that specialize in high-performance outdoor footwear. Our current footwear is made in China with a global supply chain.
We selected manufacturing partners based on quality, consistency, and technical capability.
We plan to ship within United States only for now. No international shipment.
In the future, we may ship to other major international markets.
